Working towards a healthy Bridlington
Public service organisations across East Riding of Yorkshire, the East Riding Place Partnership, are working together to create opportunities for change to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in and around Bridlington.
Our ambition is for everyone to have the same opportunities to lead a healthy life, no matter where they live or who they are.
We understand that creating a healthy wellbeing society depends on many elements including; quality health and social care, jobs for local people, decent housing, a thriving community that prevents people becoming isolated and great educational opportunities.
We have drawn up plans that focus on six specific areas:
- Education, schools and workforce
- Digital opportunities
- Estates and assets
In July 2021, information about our ambitions was shared with Bridlington residents who were encouraged to take part in the conversation and have their say by:

The topic areas receiving the most support were diagnostics (59%), transport (58%) and community resilience and prevention (57%). A number of queries were raised by people completing the survey and, wherever possible, responses to these have also been included in the feedback report:
The feedback will inform the next steps in the journey we are on together to strengthen a preventative and healthy approach in Bridlington and we would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to provide their views.
