Stay alert

We can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means you must:

  • stay at home as much as possible
  • work from home if you can
  • limit contact with other people
  • keep your distance if you go out (2 metres apart where possible)
  • wash your hands regularly

Do not leave home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.

  • The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Later Life Training (LLT), and AGILE Physiotherapy have developed some new resources to support people to stay active after being discharged from hospital. These resources have been developed due to coronavirus reducing health and care service capacity to respond to and prevent falls and fall-related injuries. At the same time, increased inactivity due to self-distancing and self-isolation for older people is likely to result in an increased risk of falls and fall-related injuries. Click here to access the resources to support the discharge of patients who are at risk from inactivity.   • Later Life Training have created the ‘Make Movement Your Mission’ campaign which focuses on getting older people to complete 10 minute online movement classes three times a day to help them keep active and reduce the risk of falls. You can access the videos here.

Health House

A risk assessment has been undertaken to cover the safe working of staff at Health House. This is applicable to all staff and visitors attending Health House.
