Humber Acute Services Review

Click here to read the latest update report

Across the Humber area, local health and care organisations are working in partnership to improve services for local people. We are working together to find new ways of improving the health and wellbeing of local people through transforming care and support in our communities.

As part of this work, we are looking at how to provide the best possible hospital services for the people of the Humber area and make the best use of the money, staff and buildings that are available to us. The five acute hospitals in the Humber area we will be reviewing are:

  • Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby
  • Scunthorpe General Hospital
  • Goole Hospital
  • Hull Royal Infirmary
  • Castle Hill Hospital

Please click here to visit the Humber Coast & Vale website for more information on the review.

Citizen's Panel

The Humber Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership have recruited a number of enthusiastic local people to join a Citizen’s Panel, which will listen to information about the challenges facing our local health system and ensure the voice and views of the community are heard around the proposals for change. The East Riding of Yorkshire has been allocated 4 places to fill with representatives from our area.

The panel will meet for three sessions and the next meeting will take place on 20 March 2019.
