Our locality commissioning groups contribute towards improving clinical quality and patient experience at a local level, using their local insight to commission services sensitive to their community’s needs. Every practice in the East Riding has a GP member representative on their locality commissioning group.
A Locality Commissioning Forum (LCF) takes place every six weeks in each locaiity, bringing together GPs, Practice Managers, local members, CCG representatives and the local Healthwatch.
Locality commissioning groups are already making a difference to patient care in their area, recognising that effective change starts from the bottom up.
