East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is continuing to work hard to secure a vibrant future for Goole Hospital and to meet the needs of the people of Goole and the surrounding area.
At the Goole Stakeholder Liaison Group last Friday, the CCG shared their ideas for working with the local community to progress innovative and exciting plans for a Health Campus on the hospital site. This means that in future, the local population could see the introduction of wider wellbeing services to the Goole Hospital site alongside the more traditional health services already offered.
The Stakeholder Group includes local representatives from GP practice patient groups, hospital governors, town and county councillors and Healthwatch.
The CCG has appointed a Goole Hospital Project Manager to lead these developments. The CCG’s work with stakeholders has also prioritised a focus on the importance of having good palliative care services for local people and we will now start to make progress in this area by co-designing the service with stakeholders and the public.
